Clean Eating Challenge - Day 3

We’re now a few days into the 30 days and there have been mixed reactions from different people. Generally speaking, most people have felt hungrier throughout the day but have started to combat that by eating more clean snacks (fruit and nuts mainly). Lyndsey from the Sales team said that she’s been eating more than she ever has before. This is a good thing! By eating more clean foods throughout the day you’re likely to boost your metabolism and promote weight loss. This is particularly important for those of you that usually skip breakfast or lunch in order to cut calories.

We’ve also had lots of really positive feedback from members that are participating in the challenge. There have been loads of new meal ideas (which we’ll post on facebook and twitter regularly – my favourite are the paleo pancakes!) and lots of buzz about their food preparation for the week. New people are getting involved all the time, so it’s not too late for you to sign up!

unnamedPersonally, I’ve found being organised the hardest part of the challenge. When eating clean it’s important to prep your food for the day to avoid having to buy snacks and meals. As a result, I’ve been trying to make larger portions of my dinner so that I can have them for lunch the next day. On the other hand, I found the shop at the beginning of the week the easiest food shop I’ve ever done! It was so easy to pick up loads of fresh fruit, veg and meat:

I’m really enjoying the meals too – it’s not restrictive. There are so many foods you can eat! I’m looking forward to the next few weeks...

Keep up the good work!!
